Alaska

Alaska is the largest state in the United States in terms of land area.  The capital is Juneau.  It is the only capital only accessible via ship or air.  Alaska has more ocean coastline than all of the other states combined, making cruising a great way to see Alaska.  Summer in Alaska people are energized by daylight.  It is the time of year when the sun refuses to set and Salmon run up river.  Weather gets warmers, although how warm depends on where you are traveling.  Alaska offers soaring snowcapped mountain peaks, glistening glaciers and abundance of wildlife.
